What Are The Hotel Check-in And Check-Out Times? Check-in time is after 3:00 pm. Check out time is at 11:00am. Please feel free to enquire with the Front Desk for a late check-out, we would be happy to accommodate if available. Additional charges apply. Complimentary luggage storage is provided for our guests before check-in, and $3 per bag after check-out, cash only accepted.

What Hours Is the Front Desk Open? Our Front Desk is available 24 hours a day for the convenience and needs of our guests.
Are You Pet Friendly? Yes! We are a pet-friendly hotel; there is a $100 non-refundable deposit for cleaning fees per pet per night.
What Is The Minimum Age Requirement For Guest Check-in? The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18 years of age, with a valid state/government-issued identification along with a valid matching debit or credit card for the guest.
Do You Offer Parking For Guests? Valet parking is unavailable, but discounted rates are available at a nearby garage. iPark (790 8th Avenue, New York, NY 10019) — Rates are $50 for sedans, $60 for SUVs, and $70 for oversize vehicles (includes tax for 24 hours). To receive the discount rate, guests must see the Front Desk for a coupon.
Why is There A Deposit of $50 USD Per Night Upon Check-In? Upon checking in, the Hotel will need a valid debit or credit card to hold as a deposit of $50 per night for any Incidental charges, plus the cost of your stay. This is a hold on the debit or credit card and not an actual charge. Upon check-out, the hold will be automatically released, minus your room balance due, if there are no additional charges. For U.S. Domestic cards, holds will be released within 7 - 14 business days (dependent on your financial institution). For International cards, holds will be released within 14 - 30 business days (dependent on your financial institution).

Does The Gallivant Hotel handle packages for guests? Is there a charge by the hotel to handle packages? The Gallivant Hotel will accept packages for all arriving and in-house guests. To ensure proper handling, packages should not be shipped more than five days before the guest’s arrival, as any items delivered earlier will be returned to the sender. A $2.00 handling fee applies to each package received by the hotel. Once the guest has checked in, packages will be delivered to the room. Please ensure that the name on the package matches the name of the registered guest to avoid delays in processing.
